Flags lowered for National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism

Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) office locations and school buildings will be joining other Government of Canada establishments in flying the Canadian flag at half-mast this weekend to mark National Day of Remembrance for Victims of Terrorism, which takes place annually on June 23.

This day marks the anniversary of the Air India flight 182 on June 23, 1985, and is dedicated to remembering all those who have lost their lives through acts of terror in Canada and around the world.
