Course selection information for the 2022/2023 has been posted on the Guidance page of the Southwood website. Please make sure to visit this link for further information.
Important Dates:
January 18-March 22nd-The MyWay portal is open for parents and students to make course selections. Changes can be made until March 22, 2022.
Week of February 21st-Counselors will be visiting homerooms to help students with course selections and answer any questions.
March 4th-Course Selection is due. This gives guidance counselors time to look over each student’s requests.
March 22nd-Course Selection Verification is due. The permission form is posted on School Day.
Note:
- There is no submit button in MyWay. Once courses have been selected, we will see them in our system. You may print a copy for your records.
- Summer school information will be out late April/early May
- Encourage your student to enter an alternate selection in case of course conflict
- Elearning courses are available through MyWay. Please note that elearning courses are not like remote learning. There is no synchronous learning with elearning courses. If you select elearning but change your mind after the timetable has been created, we will do our best to add you to the equivalent course at Southwood but it is not guaranteed.
