Parents’ Night – Semester 2

Our semester 2 Parent Teacher night will be held on Wednesday, March 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Teachers will be located in the cafeteria and double gym. No appointments are needed.

Southwood’s Production of “The Women” Wins Big At The Sears Festival

Our Sears drama cast and crew won the Outstanding Production Award for “The Women” at the District Sears Festival. The cast and crew will be moving on to the Regional Competition April 13-18 in Barrie. The production also took home two Awards of Excellence: Autumn Russell won for Best Tech Design and Paige Manoochehri and Ruth Orloci-Goodison won for Best Choreography. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Jonathan van der Veen wins big at OFSAA

Jonathan van der Veen broke two OFSAA records and earned gold medals in the 50 meter fly and the 100 m individual medley. Jonathan caps off his high school swimming career with 6 OFSAA gold medals! Congratulations Jonathan.
