This message is for our new Grade 9 Students

We are excited to welcome our Grade 9 Sabres to the Southwood community. Each incoming Grade 9 student will receive a chromebook to use for their four years of high school. Parents or students can pick up their chromebooks and Grade 9 start up packages on Monday, August 31 between 11AM and 2PM. Please drive or walk to Southwood to pick up your device and bring a piece of identification with you in order to receive your chromebook. If you are driving, please stop at the main entrance and remain in your vehicle. There will be a designated area outside for walkers to line up. Staff will be available to take your name, review your I.D. and give you your chromebook and start up package. Before coming to the school, please complete the Region of Waterloo COVID Self Check and if you are experiencing any COVID symptoms please remain at home. Students who do not receive their chromebook on Monday will receive it on their first day of school. Please contact the school if you have any questions. Welcome to Southwood!
