News from Technological Studies

Southwood’s Tech Design was one of ten schools in the board to be chosen to participate in the 3D printer pilot program allowing students to design and produce 3D solid models using the latest engineering design software and 3D printer technology.

Students in Mr. Passarelli and Mr. Colvin’s   welding and manufacturing classes are very excited and grateful for the donation of new auto darkening welding helmets from the CWA Foundation. Please take time to visit and like their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cwafoundation/

Mr. Passarelli’s manufacturing classes finished fabricating a buddy bench below for one of our feeder schools Highland Public school.  The unveiling and installation of the bench on the school grounds will take place in the next few weeks.
