Here are some tips for graduates attending Commencement on Friday, October 14th.
- Please arrive between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. – you will be directed where to check in.
- Please dispose of any gum before entering the building.
- Wear footwear appropriate to walking up and down the stage stairs.
- Suggested attire: Knee length skirts, black dress pants, long pants, socks that match shoes/pants.
- Please leave ALL valuables including coats, purses, phones, flowers etc with your family/friends so that your hands are free.
- A stage card will be provided to you with instructions for completing it.
- A staff member will be with you to lead you into the gymnasium and to your seats.
- You will be directed when to get in line to walk across the stage. When it is your turn, hand your stage card to the teacher/reader and when your name is called walk up the stairs and across the stage to receive your scroll.
- At the end of the ceremony, the recessional line will proceed to the front hall where you will pick up your diploma folder. Refreshments will be available in the cafeteria and yearbooks from the 2019-2020 school year will be available for sale.
