The Students and Staff Members at Southwood Secondary School would like to send out a HUGE thank you to the Southwood Alumnus and Community Member who donated funds that allowed us to purchase some new outdoor furniture. 
The new furniture has been placed in one of our courtyards, and has already been put to good use by students looking to catch a breath of fresh air, a few of the sun’s rays, and a chance to reflect or reconnect with friends.
We are hoping to purchase more furniture for purposes like these. If you or someone you know might be interested in making a monetary donation that would help us fund the purchase of additional furniture, please contact Mrs. J. Deacon at the school.
