Southwood Secondary School Drama presents the award-winning production of “The Story of a Mother” directed and adapted by Ms. Amy Cruickshank.
Tickets may also be purchased at the door, however space is limited.
This production is breathtaking. It showcases the story of a terminally ill mother dying of cancer who reads her daughter a haunting bedtime story about grief, death and loss.

This production was praised at both the District and Regional levels of the Sears Ontario Drama Festival. It was recognized by the well-known adjudicators Gary Kirkham and Ken Gass, a Canadian theatre legend.
This production was also honoured with a number of awards for excellence in: acting, ensemble work, movement, lighting design, sound design, singing and accompaniment, and outstanding production.
