Some good news to share! Congratulations to former SSS student Fatima Awan for being awarded the 2021 Oktoberfest Rogers Women of the Year Award for the category of Young Adult (14-25). During her acceptance speech she specifically mentioned Southwood and the role the staff here played in her life.

This is significant honour for Fatima and for those who watched her grow over her time at Southwood I know we all agree that she is a very deserving recipient. The ceremony will be broadcast on Rogers TV at a later date.
